United Services is looking to hire full-time Master’s level Clinicians. If you are passionate about working with individuals with behavioral health diagnoses with a team approach and are looking for a supportive work environment that encourages a good work-life balance, we are looking for you!

Positions will provide individual and group clinical services and will be provided with regular, ongoing, clinical supervision by an LCSW. Training provided for orientation and on boarding, evidence-based models, and funding for CEU training.

Clinical supervision for Connecticut Licensure will be provided.

Full-time positions are 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. No weekend or on call expectations.

Part-time positions available for Child Guidance, Adult Outpatient Services and CRISIS.

Positions will be also provided with Group supervision with your co-workers and interdisciplinary collaborative meetings to manage peoples risk are also scheduled regularly.

Adult Outpatient Services (Dayville and Mansfield Center)

Adult Outpatient Services provides office-based outpatient individual and group clinical services for adults with a primary mental health diagnosis, substance use diagnosis as well as dually diagnosed individuals. The individual is expected to work from a co-occurring treatment philosophy.  Our clinical philosophy is CBT based with significant utilization of motivational interviewing. The successful candidate will be able to engage people, complete clinical assessments, treatment plans with observable, measurable objectives and work cooperatively with internal and external treatment providers.

Child Guidance Clinic (Dayville and Mansfield Center)

The Child Guidance Clinic provides office-based outpatient services to children and adolescents ages 3-18 using individual, group and family-based therapy. Clinicians are provided a supportive team environment that works from a strengths-based perspective with a multi-disciplinary approach.  We work collaboratively with internal and external providers to provide comprehensive treatment and support for children, adolescents and families serviced by the clinic.

*Adult Outpatient Clinicians are required to work until 8 p.m. one night per week.

*Child Guidance Clinicians are required to work until 8 p.m. two nights per week

Crisis Response Services (CRS) and Crisis Response, Engagement and Stabilization Team (CREST) (Dayville and Mansfield Center)

Crisis Response Services provides community-based assessments and brief treatment primarily to adults experiencing mental health challenges, traumatic events or other crises. We provide urgent support to people trying to access treatment or other resources but struggling to get through “the system” or stuck on a waitlist. We support them through their crisis and link them to whatever service or support they need. Perfect for new grads looking for extensive experience, skill development and supervision, OR for seasoned clinicians who prefer an active and creative role over long term outpatient therapy.

We are looking for someone with great assessment skills, ability to provide crisis support, a good level of organization and time management, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Group Clinician:

United Services is seeking an Adult Outpatient Services (AOS) Group Clinician to provide quality psychotherapeutic services to all people and their families. This clinician will have flexibility in creating and implementing group topics. The AOS Group Clinician will serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team supporting the United Services treatment program and philosophy and collaborate with other clinicians and medical providers. As an AOS Group Clinician, you will be part of the adult outpatient team without carrying an individual caseload.

Young Adult Services (Mansfield Center)

Join the dedicated team of professionals in our Young Adult Services Program! We are seeking an energetic individual to provide individual, group, and family clinical services in the community to young adults, ages 18-25, who have a diagnosed mental illness and are in need of community-based support services in the Willimantic area. YAS provides a diverse array of services including clinical, medication management, nursing, case management, vocational, recreational, transitional living and housing services. If you have knowledge and experience providing clinical, substance use, risk assessments and trauma informed care services for young adults and have an understanding of the developmental issues of this population, please consider becoming part of our team. Minimum Requirements:

MSW (CT-LMSW required), MFT (CT-MFT-A required), Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology or Master’s Degree in a related clinical field required (CT-LPC-A required).  Clinical experience with people with substance use and co-occurring diagnosis preferred.

Salary Range:
  • Non-LCSW, $55,370 – $67,093- LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT-A
  • Non-LCSW, Bilingual Clinicians- Spanish/English Fluency $61,118 – $72,650 LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT-A
  • LCSW, LPC, LMFT LADC Clinicians $65,166 – $73,730
  • LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LADC Bilingual Spanish/English Fluency $71,932 – $85,504
