We are seeking someone who is able to positively engage with adults with mental health and co-occurring substance abuse disorders in order to help them reach their goal of finding employment. Must also be able to engage with potential employers to identify available job opportunities. Full-time (Monday – Friday) position located in Mansfield Center, CT to provide Employment Services using an evidenced based model. Critical functions include job development, job coaching and placement, resume writing, mock interviewing and ongoing job support. Requires extensive work in the community.
Young Adult Services Program provides a diverse array of services including clinical, case management, vocational, recreational, transitional living and housing services for young adults, ages 18-25, who have a diagnosed mental illness and are in need of community-based support services in the Willimantic area. This position will provide individual support and group counseling in a transitional living setting.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant human services field or Associate’s Degree in relevant human services field plus two years of relevant experience.
Salary Range:
Salary Range $18.54 – $20.98
Bilingual Spanish Fluency $19.48 – $22.04 per hour
