Description:
United Services has an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a new program, COAST. We are seeking a dynamic Peer Recovery Specialist to join our COAST Program. The right candidate will also coordinate care with providers, and case managers, to collaborate to meet individuals where they are at, so their recovery and wellness are enhanced. The Peer Recovery Specialist will bring the peer perspective and experience to support and inspire others to achieve person-driven and self-defined achievable goals. Critical functions of the job include assisting in follow up with medical care, promoting involvement with wellness and health promotion activities, including self-help, and modeling successful recovery strategies.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional weekend coverage may be required.
Minimum Requirements:
Associates Degree or High School Diploma/equivalent plus two years relevant experience required.
Salary Range:
- $16.04 – $18.15 per hour depending on experience
- $16.85 – $19.07 per hour for Bilingual Spanish fluency
